Michael B. Jordan is back as Adonis Creed for the final instalment of the trilogy with Jonathan Majors as his opponent.
Creed III is an upcoming American sports drama film directed by Michael B. Jordan. Posters tease the incoming boxing battle between Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors in the boxing sequel, Creed 3 was released via the official social media profiles for MGM, Prime Video and Creed 3 teamed up on Instagram and Twitter account to show off two character posters for the latest entry in the franchise, with a screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin from a story they co-wrote with Ryan Coogler.
‘Creed 3’ has been scheduled for theatres to the 23rd of November 2022, because of a further expansion in the Balboa-verse started as early as 2018 between Jordan and Stallone, despite Rocky’s important role in the Creed movies, Stallone will not appear in ‘Creed III’, as he doesn’t believe there to be a story for the character in the sequel.
In ‘Creed II’, Adonis Creed, rematch his victory against Viktor Drago and saw him vindicated. That match came with a potential cost already built in, as the son of Apollo Creed stood a real chance of dying in the ring. Almost the entirety of the previous movie saw our hero building himself back up after a near fatal defeat, with the stakes riding pretty high.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Majors’ fans can next see the actor in the upcoming movie Devotion, a Korean War aviation that debuts at the movies on November 23.
