More of me

What could you do more of?

We’re in a world where people are trying to live to impress to fit in. What surprises me is that the real ones are always the ones that are judged more, they always get to being called with those funny and crazy names. Lol crazy right?

Okay let me tell you about me. I’m just a free friendly spirited soul with just a normal character but people call it ‘crazy character’, well they’re just not used to the realness of a human being. Weird.

I know more of me will take me far as I’ve reached here but still have a long way to go . More of me is way better than any other way, with God of course.

Life’s like a ventilator

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

One day I found myself crying in a corner then a man appeared from no where. He was a giant but opened up a room for a tiny me. Not enough but it was more than enough.

He sat me down, and he also sat down. I looked down, I looked up, then I looked at him. I didn’t know but I heard a voice saying trust him.

I opened up, speak, cry out then I faced down again. I said “Sorry about that, I know I can be weird and stuff” *drying up the tears on my face*

He laughed or should I say smiled at me brightly. It was like he had no issues, it was like all was perfectly fine. He then said “No it’s okay to cry, don’t feel bad about it”

I don’t really remember some of the stuff he was saying, I just remember seeing him holding a paper and a pen he then drew two lines on that paper the other one was going up and down(zigzag) vertically and the other one just went straight.

He then asked “do you see these lines?” I was like “yeah” so interested into what he was about to say about the lines, so I gave all of my attention to him. Quietly and patiently waiting to listen.

He said life is a ventilator machine. Life is like that breathing machine. I just looked at him. He continued and said the first line that’s going up and down shows that there’s what? “Life” I answered, and the straight one shows there’s no life right? I said “yes”

“Okay now let’s talk about the line going up and down”, I was like okay, as I waited to listen to more. Then he said “what did David said singing the songs of Psalms. On Psalm 23? he said though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. He said the line going up and down those are the valleys. It shows that there’s life in you you are alive”

And while walking through the valleys fear no evil for it is said he is with you.

“Just don’t give up and don’t stop praying”

I thank you Bishop

GONE.

Caught in the darkest moment of my life but I saw the light every time I looked in his eyes. He didn’t, but I felt the reawakening of souls in the shadows flying all high bringing nothing but peace in our spirits. Growing in one soulful memory.

Cost to cost a millions to lose your love. Is it over yet? I felt every piece of my heart shatter as tears roll down my face. Did he just left every moment we had. What happened to growing old till nothing separate our souls. I miss you.

We miss You, feel like screaming but I (sigh)…. how about I laugh at myself for falling for you and every thing I thought you were. You broke me.

Now my kids need me, my heart is with them but my mind is long gone and my soul is torn. Love is a sore pain, Lord heal her.

A heavy heart drowning in a deep ocean, the pain keeps growing and growing day by day. “Oh how I loved you”, I tried a thousand times to draw you near but you were never there. Now, I pour out this sorrowful melody in her ears. What I feel, she feels. I think she’s my guardian angel but she ran away from me, did I make her run away from me? She’s still away but I know as soon as she hears my heart broke it’ll kill her.

I feel like blaming her for the costs of my heart’s decisions but I blame myself, I blame my heart. I failed you Nyandi, I made a promise, we made a promise. I know it wasn’t much but I couldn’t, I was jailed, I thought it was love but I was falling for a trap. I should have listened to your tears that day but I thought they were tears of joy. Where are you?

I cried out for healing but no one heard my cry, I covered my face with a smile and they thought all was still well. Well inside but I’m dead inside, I’m sinking alone. Was love meant to hurt this much? Can I start all over? Can I…(heavy breath) Can we fix it? Tell me, where did I go wrong!?

I always think you’d call just to say ‘Hi‘; but you seem far away, far away from us, far away from home. You left me, my heart feels heavy without you next to me, without you my love I’m empty inside and out.

I know I might look like a stranger in your eyes but never in your heart. I wished on so much more, and still praying for more but gone. I just can’t ignore the fact that we were once a fairytale. You know I ….

Hot hatches|Audi Sport hatch Rs3 Vs Mercedes AMG A45

7 Min Read

By Tshikororo Nyandano

One of the perks of driving a hatchback is that it has the space you need without the bulky exterior of an SUV or a crossover seems like a smaller vehicle from outside, but it’s actually spacious. Whether you’re looking to cart passengers or cargo, in a world of increasingly quick and complex machinery, the A45 and RS3 are the apex predators.

Audi and Mercedes-AMG have been slogging it out for a hyper hatchback supremacy for decades now, but their product cadence has been staggered.

Audi Rs3

The sportiest compact model from Audi Sport, the Rs3 is fast with a true street artist style and a control centre for developed maximum performance.

The interior of the new Audi RS 3 Sportback impresses with high-quality materials, top-class workmanship and typical RS design hallmarks, with more dynamics, more comfort or the RS-specific character in a nutshell plus dynamic package, Launch Control and the RS sport exhaust system, performance becomes experience.his little hot hatch is more than capable of giving you – and your family – with the front-engine, four-wheel-drive, five-seat, and more focused display elements, like the Audi exclusive customised paint, Sepang blue, pearl effect, Goodwood green, pearl effect and coral orange, metallic with more expressive details.

The RS 3 performance edition 10, 11, the sportiest compact model from Audi Sport, is fast and a true street artist. Developed for maximum performance, the special edition boasts 299 kW (407 PS) of power and a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) with a fuel consumption combined in l/100 km: 8.3; CO₂ emissions combined in g/km: 190.

Fuel consumption and CO₂ emission figures given in ranges depend on the tyre/wheel set used with a torque splitter distributes drive force between the front axle and the individual rear wheels – dynamically on demand.

Mercedes AMG A45

The performance potential of SA’s most powerful hatchback.
Picture: DENIS DROPPA

The AMG’s performance is instantly accessible throughout the rev range, aided by a slick-shifting transmission that keeps it in the power band without significant pauses, the Mercedes-AMG A45 S Hatchback brings racing performance to the road in a compact yet elegant form with exclusive features such as the Real Performance Sound.

With 310Kw and 500Nm to its disposal, the figures put anything and everything and everything in its path to shame. Now there’s a lot of power to come from a small capacity engine, but Mercedes says it took the necessary steps in ensuring the mill’s longevity.

Picture: DENIS DROPPA

From being deluxe inside and out to having the most powerful four-cylinder engine, the Mercedes-AMG A45 S is presently the fastest and among the most premium hatchback in the market, matched to the automaker’s 4Matic+all-wheel drive system, the A45 S can scatter from 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds and clock out at 270km/h.

The one somewhat subtle aspect of this car is its 11.9l / 100km fuel consumption; the car’s high performance capabilities are regularly tested. It has got a Four-cylinder petrol turbo engine with the capacity of 1,99cc and 192g/km emissions.

It all keep the powerful hatch from getting too wayward during hard cornering, but the car comes out to play if you really want it to , if you select drift mode which disables the stability control and allows experienced wheelsmen to test their power sliding skills.

Overview

RS3 actually isolates you from the outside world around town. It still feels tautly sprung, but it’s able to breathe over bumps that upset the A45. The AMG makes a bigger impression than the Audi.

It’s more purposeful, which demands more compromise from the driver on the daily commute, but the pay-off is a pint-sized hatchback that will pick apart a winding road like few other cars on the road.

REVIEW: LATEST BIG SUV’S FOR BIG FAMILIES

2023 caps – BMW and Volvo’s excellent range of SUVs with the most seats, house power; and most luxurious cabin.

By: Tshikororo Nyandano

Hybrids SUVs typically offer extra seating capacity when compared to sedans and hatchbacks, meaning that larger families are easily accommodated with better fuel efficiency and conserve more energy, thus emitting fewer carbon emissions.

Since Most SUV models can comfortably seat around five to nine passengers depending on the model, perfect for those with larger families like the BMW’s latest flagship model – the X7 – is a luxury SUV with room for seven and the Exclusive Volvo XC90, redefined with the attention to detail and a commitment to your comfort.

They are big, bold and very powerful. Few cars are as ‘in your face’ as the X7, so if you’re looking to make a statement this could be the car for you.

The BMW Md40 X7

The X7 looks imposing from any approach and the interior is very upmarket and packed with all the latest technology, as it comes turbocharged six-cylinder making 375 horsepower (up 40) and up to 398 pound-feet of torque (up 67), moving an affluent family, there’s no better BMW than the X7, the brand’s luxurious three-row SUV.

Gallery

Inside the BMW X7 there is plenty of luxury features, including heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting, the X7’s dashboard is dominated by a massive digital display that’s slightly curved.

VOLVO XC90

Overview Highlighting – Discover how connectivity, comfort and safety features define the character of the XC90.

The XC90’s upright stance enables a spacious cargo area, especially with the second- and third-row seats folded flat. There is a rather high floor, but the XC90’s optional air suspension can be used to lower the vehicle’s ride height for easier loading.

Under the cargo floor is a space for carrying plug-in charging cords and other small items, and there are backpack-sized cubbies on either side as well. Small-item space is limited in the front. The slim and graceful-looking centre console has two cup holders alongside tiny trays. Volvo designed the cabin for style, not functionality.

When it comes to installing child safety seats, the optional second-row captain’s chairs have easily accessible car-seat anchor points between the cushions.

And only the passenger-side seat has an overhead tether point. Families expecting to fill their XC90 with a pack of little ones, or moving them to the back when the grandparents come to town, might be disappointed.

This big SUV is not going hybrid just for the sake of green marketing. Instead, the XC90 uses electrification to enhance nearly every aspect of the driving experience

RIVIEW: FORD RANGER RAPTOR VS ISUZU D’ MAX

By Tshikororo Nyandano

Bakkies are tougher and more reliable vehicles as they can adapt too many uses along with a much greater payload. It can be modified easily with 4×4 accessories to improve its capabilities and one of the major benefits is that it will experience little to no depreciation, meaning it will keep its value for years to come. With a lower impact on the environment and still have up-to-date safety features.

Bakkies are designed to carry more payloads and come fitted with bigger wheels with thicker sidewalls for proper off-roading. SUVs are the opposite of that. They have a softer suspension backed up with good levels of handling prowess as well as great performance.

Amongst the current crop of dual-cabs, the 2022 Isuzu D-MAX X-Terrain does a pretty good job across the board and the Ford Ranger Wildtrak X is up to the task when it comes to hard work, but it’s more comfortable showing off at the worksite than actually getting the job done. We all know someone like that.

The fuel consumption of 2021 Isuzu D-Max 3.0 4×4 Single Cab MT is 8.3 L/100km. The fuel consumption of 2021 Isuzu D-Max 1.9 4×4 Standard MT is -. The fuel consumption of 2022 Isuzu D-Max 3.0 4×4 X-Terrain AT is 8.3 L/100km. With Ford’s V6 3.0-litre diesel mill instead the Ford performance to fit in their halo V6 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol engine producing 292kW and 583Nm, doubling the power output comparing it with the previous model and adding an extra 83Nm of torque since it was first introduced locally in 2019, with more power than the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel with 157kW and 500Nm.

The other engine option for the Wildtrak X is the 2.0-litre Bi-turbo four-cylinder engine producing 157kW of power (at 3750rpm) and 500Nm of torque (1750-2000rpm). That’s class-leading levels of grunt from a four-cylinder engine. It runs a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

There are two engines on offer in the D-Max range, both are four-cylinder turbo-diesels but of different sizes. Isuzu says that after a combination of open and urban roads the D-Max will use from 6.7L/100km to 8.0L/100km.

Isuzu D’ max (Gallery)

The lower fuel consumption figure is the official Isuzu result for the Crew Cab Ute SX with the 1.9-litre engine and automatic transmission, while the higher mileage applies to most variants with the 3.0-litre engine and auto.

There’s the 3.0-litre making 140kW and 450Nm (4JJ3-TCX), while the other is a 1.9-litre making 110kW and 350Nm (RZ4E-TC).

A six-speed automatic transmission and a six-speed manual gearbox are offered, too, on both engines but not on all grades.

The four-wheel drive Ute range is powered almost exclusively by the 3.0-litre, with the 1.9-litre engine only available on the entry-grade SX. This is new for the 2023 D-Max update.

Throwing an adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane-centring that bringing the vehicles complete a stop if required, evasive steer assist, blind spot information system with trailer coverage, pre-collision assist with dynamic brake support, forward collision warning, automated emergency braking and reverse brake assist, as well as post-collision braking and you’re pretty much covered for all eventualities.

REVIEW: HONDA ODESSY VS KIA CARNIVAL

5 min Read

By Tshikororo Nyandano

Currently, the supply of minivans is lower than full-size, midsize, and compact SUVs and well below the national average. They’re just easier and typically offers more cargo space than SUVs, even after folding the third row of seats in both types of vehicles. If one’s looking for a car that maximizes interior storage space for those long road trips, a minivan may be a better option.

The Honda Odyssey stands ready to take on family adventures in style, with a gloss-black grille, LED headlights and available 19 – inch wheels. And the new KIA Carnival, whatever your families ‘dreams are, as many as they are, the all-new Kia Carnival is big enough for them.

The Honda Odyssey

The 2022 Honda Odyssey deliver nearly everything you’d want in a minivan and it was designed with a host of smart features for the whole family with heated and ventilated front seats to keep the driver and the passengers comfortable in any weather. It offers comfortable and versatile seating, a hearty V6 engine, confident handling, a smooth ride and plenty of cargo space.

Honda Odysseys are powered by a 129kW/225Nm 2.4-litre ‘K24W’ four-cylinder petrol engine, which drives the front wheels via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

Peak power is available at 6200rpm, while maximum torque is on stream from 4000rpm and kicks off at $44,250, before on-road costs for the base Vi L7, and extends to $51,150 for the top-spec Vi LX7, which we have here.

It also has many unique family-focused features that provide additional peace of mind when hauling a crowd. Aside from a few nitpicks, It’s difficult to find any glaring flaws in Honda’s well-crafted minivan.

The Kia Carnival

The new Kia Carnival is striking from all angles, both beautiful and aggressive with high quality materials and the latest and greatest technology at your finger tips. Smart, Intuitive and High quality turning the most arduous journey into bonding experiences in the luxury, the Kia Carnival comfortable accommodates every individual occupant, from only R824, 995.

The entire Carnival range in South Africa is powered by an oil-burner, a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 148kW and 440Nm of torque. Amazingly, the minivan can be so light on the fuel, as its heavy (nearly 1800kg depending on spec). Kia nailed the gearing on it. With eight cogs to choose from, the car shifts quickly through the gears to ensure it’s using little diesel at all times.

With firm, welcoming seats, enviable headroom, and tasteful materials, the Kia Carnival comfortably accommodates every individual occupant. From the ways the doors slide to how the seats can be adjusted and moved, the interior is engineered to make the ride a joy for everyone inside.

The Carnival has the same combined and city estimates, but its 26-mpg highway rating falls short of its rival. We put each minivan through our 75-mph real-world highway fuel-economy test. Both exceeded their EPA highway ratings, as the Honda achieved 30 mpg and the Kia achieved 28 mpg.
